I picked "The Shadow of Life." I like how there are multiple connotations to the title, which makes it deeper and with more substance. Some of your titles are very long or, at times, with enough common words that they might not stick as much in a reader's mind. You want a title that's more memorable, that means something, that captures attention and begs the reader to stop in for a look.
...This is why I hate tiles. Why do they have to mean so much and be so hard to come up with? lol
