Be nice

Today, at least for today, please be nice to your fellow employees and/or employees you might come across in stores, restaurants or other service industries.

Times are tough for everyone. You're not the only one and they're just trying to keep their job and not get fired.

Instead of getting frustrated, smile. Kill them with kindness. Show them a positive example of how to be human.

I do my best to treat everyone with kindness until they don't reciprocate. Even then, when it comes to waiters, waitresses, cashiers and similar customer or service folk, I tend to be the model customer and then report them to their boss if their behavior was unacceptable.

Good advice. People are under so much pressure that its a wonder they are still functioning. Everyone should remember that 'there for the grace of G-d, go I.' Can't say I always do so, but I'm cutting people lots of slack these days.
