I hated Rango. I know there are only about five of us on the planet but I did.
I didn't see it in the theater, but was shopping one day after its release and like a crow I went for the bright shiny packaging. I've yet to watch it though after hearing some friends of mine say they didn't like it. My interest is peaked, but I've a couple episodes of Downton Abbey to catch up on.
As for Star Wars, I am old enough to remember the later of the original two, but only the hype. My grandmother wouldn't allow the movies (I saw ET only because my mother and I lied about where we went on afternoon). It wasn't until the second of the newer films that I decided to find out what I had missed and had a marathon. I love the older ones but the newer ones... eh. Not enough 'eh' to keep me from going to see the 3D version of Phantom Menace though. If only so I can kvetch about what I am sure will be poor 3D effects.
