So, after my mom and I went to B's which is awesome and I got a 1997 Mach 5 still in the package, I decided to go walking. I've never been to this restaurant before despite the building being there for decades. It's never the same restaurant but always a restaurant.

Considering the thin competition, I suppose they're correct about being the best burgers in town but they're also subject to K-Mart pricing. K-Mart pricing is what I call any business who posts one price and then charges you another. The burger was $3.65 on the menu and $4.71 when I had to pay for it. No, it didn't include tip. At this point, I really wanted a nice glass of cherry coke done the proper way; out of the tap with cherry syrup added. I already knew The Clock didn't have it but I was hoping Village Inn did. Nope, I had to settle for Pink Lemonade.

Still, it was a fun Leap Day and maybe in 2016, it'll be even better, maybe even Disney.

Tipping is basically the only way waitstaff are able to make minimum wage, if even that. It's a really screwed up system tbh.

No, it probably is a criminal offense here as well but it's a small-town and almost every single business does it that way. It's so bad that the customers at my work are constantly asking, "I know what it says but what's the actual price?"

There was a tip jar. However, since I've worked at restaurants before, I always tip whenever possible. In Florida, if a worker is allowed tips, the employer is allowed to pay them a lower wage, as low as four dollars an hour even though food service individuals can't depend on a regular full-time schedule each week or benefits.

Cherry Lemonade, for the win!! I love Cherry Lemonade. Love the picture of the flower and it is nifce to see such greenery when still have bland trees and brown grass in my area.

I'm glad you had a nice leap day! I didn't do anything special for it, unfortunately.

So jealous of that pink lemonade tbh. I have a huge love for it. And that cafe is sooo cute!
