Barack Obama and Jobs

Now, unfortunately, a lot of these jobs are not enough to prevent those workers from being underemployed or having to work multiple jobs. However, it's a start and hopefully, we will have better discussion on how to have better full-time/livable wage jobs...something that I highly doubt will happen under a Republican president, or at least the current candidates for such.

Minimum wage is a big ass joke. Even if you work full time you'll never be able to afford housing, food, gas, car payments, insurance, clothes, other essentials, LIFE. And that's pretty much all anyone will pay, and then the United States wonders why everyone needs welfare. It's not always because people don't have jobs or don't want to work. It's because they have jobs that don't pay them shit to live on.

One of the biggest complaints I have is that they complain about the "lack of family values" but do nothing to promote them. Obviously, children can't have a lot of family time when their caregivers all have to work 2-4 jobs just to afford to live. Then, when they dare to have family emergencies come up, they get fired.
