I think the Hiddleston video would have been funnier to me if I'd actually seen Thor. LOL I was just kind of confused instead of amused because I didn't get the jokes. I fail.

It really wasn't even about Thor.

It was a skit about an actor trying to convince an interviewer that he could be mischievous and evil like his character but not really pulling it off.

"Ha, it's decaf!"

Until the very last bit where he finally succeeds in pranking him. Hiddleston described his behaviour as "insane and foolish". It's just supposed to be silly.

No, the way he plays Loki as this exterior of cold and calculating that's hiding a gooey interior of self-loathing and abandonment issues. It's very different than playing an exaggerated version of himself here.
