Pheels at Work

There was this little boy, 5 or 6...definitely not more than 7 and he was so cute. He was wearing an Avengers shirt.
Me: So, you like Avengers?
Little Boy: It's the best movie I EVER saw!
Sadly, even though he's seven at the most, I really can't argue with this statement. I can only hope that the cold hard truth of most movies not being as good isn't too traumatizing.
So, I asked him who his favorite Avenger was.
First, he looked like Tom Hiddleston when you ask him to answer briefly. Then, he smiled and said, "Hawkeye! He's been my favorite forever, since I was four!"
Me: My Favorite is Coulson.
He immediately gives me the most saddest, empathetic look EVER. Even his dad is like, "Oh, that was sad."
Then, his dad adds, "You know, they're putting together a SHIELD tv show and it'll take place before the movie. They're saying it might be a vehicle for him..."
I know I should interject with "He's not really dead" or "He's played by Clark Gregg" but all I can think is Coulson on a live action regular basis?????
Me: That would be AWESOME!
I'm not sure if any of this will come to pass but it needs to...

Date: 2012-09-04 02:57 am (UTC)I kept freaking out about how I was going to watch the Henry movies earlier this summer before waiting for PBS in 2013 but Tumblr helped with that, too.

Date: 2012-09-05 07:34 pm (UTC)I might be having to work on Halloween which will need an outfit, preferably Avengers related, but that's tricky when I'm thrifty and don't want to pay more than twenty bucks...
Unfortunately, I don't have suit...
Right now, my only Avengers related option appears to be Natasha in Russia...and I don't have red hair.

Date: 2012-09-05 07:45 pm (UTC)Yay, Coulson!
I'll also keep watching the reruns of The New Adventures of Old Christine that a local channel has on Sunday nights...
That reminds me, Clark Gregg would be awesome on Leverage...

Date: 2012-08-07 11:41 pm (UTC)I would love to see Coulson in the TV show, but it would need to be set before the Avengers I think to make that plausible. As glad as I would be to see Coulson not really be dead I think part of me would feel cheated if he wasn't really dead.
I hope they do the TV show justice.
