I have already voted for the President. I sent in my absentee ballot this week. It was extremely easy. You can still order your absentee ballot and mail it back as long as it will reach your local supervisor of elections by 7 PM on November 6th.

Or you can vote early in most areas. To find your early voting locations, click on the link you're more comfortable with. Both might say Florida but you can change the state for yourself.

The important thing is for each one of us to vote. A big reason why people don't take those under 30 seriously is because they think we don't care and they think this partially because only 51% voted in 2008.

All that talk about the young people's election and that we voted in Obama and ONLY 51% OF US VOTED!
This is pathetic. It's not about forgetting. You can get other people to remind you. You can vote right now. It's not about not having the time because ALL employers are required to give you the time. It's the law. It's not about not having access to polling places. All are accessible by bus but if this isn't an option for you, go here:

It doesn't matter who you're voting for, they will give you a ride because it's THAT important.

And if you don't believe me, well, here's Black Widow...

Shh, I know it's Scarlett Johansson but it's more fun to think this way.

PLEASE VOTE!!!!!!!!

Thanks for doing your civic duty. I'll probably go to a poll site next month. =)

We're voting for different people, but wholeheartedly YES! VOTE! I never forget my grandmother was of the generation that women didn't initially have the right to vote. I cherish my right to vote most dearly.

I used to do absentee when I lived in CA, but the small town I live in here in UT, I'm the only person on the rolls whose last name starts with a 'U' :D - so I now vote live and in person.

I know of bus systems in only a few cities in Ohio. People who live in other parts of the state, (ie: the majority) either have a car, are in walking distance or they're out of luck if they can't find someone to ride along with. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

That's why I put that link which is good for any state or I could find a phone number specific for Ohio. There were many states with state specific numbers and pages but I wanted something nationwide for people needing a ride. It's unfortunate that people aren't informed about their alternatives, including calling and asking for a ride.

I'm terrified of voting absentee. I've heard too many horror stories of the ballots being lost in the mail or arriving after the deadline. Nope, I'll take my chances with a machine. So far, we haven't had any problems with the voting machines in Philly. Now if I lived in Ohio, I'd vote absentee because shady shit goes on there! /o\

I envy you for already voting though. I wanna vote! Our scheduled time is 7:30am on election day.

If you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain. I lose respect for people who don't vote. We fought damn hard for this right, use it!
