Halloween Costumes

So, I'm going to be working on Halloween. This is the first time I will be working on Halloween where costumes are encouraged. This should be fun, right?

I can't bring myself to spend more than twenty bucks on a costume I'm probably only wearing once...
I lost too much weight for my ever ready costume...Silent Bob. I'm not sure how many people would get that one anymore anyway.

I thought about doing a SHIELD agent but then, I would have to make myself an ID which means getting access to a color printer...not so easy...

I really wanted to do Batman or Captain America princess but we can't wear masks. This is also why I can't do my Darth Maul costume.

I thought about doing Natasha with the black dress like in Russia, but I don't think we're allowed to do sleeveless and I'm not ginger.

I thought about doing some sort of punk princess with my new Converse shoes and these weird Hot Topic socks I picked up cheap but I'm not sure how to do the rest of that.

So, I will probably dress up like a soldier because my mom still has my brother's fatigues. She also still has my other brother's soccer goalie uniform.

I'm doing a race a few days before Halloween (the Monster Dash) and if I had my way, I'd run in an Iron Man mask and a red-and-gold tutu but I think they're a little iffy on masks and who wants to run in a mask anyway? I've also got a moral objection to dropping more than $20 on a costume. Alas.

I'm being a punk fairy with Converse, a skirt, leggings, and metal band T that I already had. I added suspenders, over-the-knee socks, and fingerless gloves up to my elbow 3 for $10. I also bought solid and glittery nail polish 2/$6. I bought liquid eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss, which I will all use for under $10 total. All I need now is some cardboard for my wings, and either spray paint or acrylic paint and it will be done. Less than $30 for my whole costume. :)

Those are such cool choices. I think the Natasha one sounds the best.
