This link tells whether your senator voted for or against the Disability Treaty on Tuesday.

Please take the time to tell your senators what you feel about what they did using this link:

I know they claimed it was because it was redundant. They claimed it would encourage the United Nations. The truth is that it had no ways of being enforced. It was entirely symbolic.

The Disability Treaty was just to tell every disabled American and those that love them how THEY MATTER AS A PERSON! It was to encourage other countries to also help their disabled and also realize that they are still people!

Even John McCain, Scott Brown and Lisa Murkowski voted FOR it. Bob Dole pleaded with them to ratify it.

BOB DOLE!

I know most remember him now as hawking Viagra but he was also a Senator; a Republican senator capable of supporting civil rights issues and measures to help the poor.

I admit it, in our 8th grade mock election, I voted for him over Bill Clinton.

Bob Dole knows more about war and disability than most of congress combined. When the treaty didn't pass, he cried.

THEY MADE BOB DOLE CRY!

assholes

We should use the Nay list and get them all unelected as soon as possible...ooh, Jim DeMint has resigned so 1 down, 37 to go...

My two Senators voted for the measure. I wrote them and thank them already, and expressed my regret that the measure didn't pass, inspite of their efforts.

I know they claimed it was because it was redundant. Santorum nd others suggested that the UN might have the opportunity to force --I don't know--something on US citizens regarding their special needs children. It was --disheartening to listen to them.

I can't help vote him out (the senator in my area is Sherrod Brown, who voted for), but I sent Rob Portman a nastygram that will, of course, fall on completely deaf ears.

Although I think it'd be a hoot if I got a pissy response.

Nobody makes Bob Dole cry and get away with it. Nobody.

The U.N. hates Israel (Jews) and the United States. Why would you want to support anything they do or say?

While I figured it was a safe bet that my Republican senators voted for it, I checked to make sure. They did. Thanks for including a link showing where to send them my thanks!

ooh, Jim DeMint has resigned so 1 down, 37 to go...

Ooo, when did that happen?

It was disgustingly shameful B[! Doubly so because Bob Dole appeared in the chamber to show his support for it, and then Congress proceeded to, as Lawrence O'Donnell or another one of MSNBC's reporters/hosts said, "crush his [Dole's] lifelong dream right before his eyes", or something like that. Just..., UGH! A large portion of the Republicans currently in Congress (with the exception of those who voted in favor of the measure, of course, and good for them, BTW) seem to have virtually NO sense of human decency WHATSOEVER, the, as you said, assholes B/!

If I'm remembering the clip I saw of him speaking correctly, I think he said something ludicrous like if the measure passed, it would give UN forces in both the U.S. and other countries the authority to take disabled children away from their parents.
