After going to college, I started to lose track of country. I had other things to do than listen to the radio for hours and I didn't like some of the newer stuff it was producing. This song came out in 2003 but I didn't hear it for the first time until I started working at Whataburger in 2006.
This song makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME, like a baby. It could be a bit embarrassing at work.
I was the youngest child,
so I got by with more.
I guess she was tired by
the time I came along.
She'd laugh until she cried,
I could do no wrong.
She would always save me,
because I was her baby.
I am the baby and very close to my mom and it just speaks to me...
