And once again, I turned into a giggly little five year old. My mom looked at the huge stack and commented, "I didn't think you'd find that many."

This time, I got...

The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick -I've been wanting to read this since I first saw it when it came out, but I didn't want to pay full-price...it's over 600 pages!!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Portal Through Time by Alice Henderson -It's Buffy AND Time Travel! I wonder if Spike's in it...especially when part of it is in Wales...

Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters by Ben H. Winters -However, I still haven't read the zombie one, but I did request it.

Doctor Who: The Stone Rose by Jacqueline Rayner -DW!!!

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan -[livejournal.com profile] baine recommended this and she was right about Nana and The Thirteenth Tale.

Doctor Who: The Deviant Strain by Justin Richards -DW AND Captain Jack, woo!

Primeval: The Lost Island by Paul Kearney -I loved the other Primeval book, like Jurassic Park but shorter.

Doctor Who: Ghosts of India by Mark Morris -DW AND Donna AND Gandhi, can't wait!

Torchwood: Bay of the Dead by Mark Morris -That name seems familiar, lol...Yes, my library has Torchwood novels now! I love seeing Jack grinning at me amongst the anonymous book spines...but I don't see how any book can top Almost Perfect...so awesome...

They have Torchwood and Dr. Who books at your library! Wow. Almost Perfect may be my favorite so far too. Bay of the Dead is basically about zombies (as I recall). My son LOVES the Lightening Thief series.

Yeah, it's a new thing. They did just have Primeval books and a couple of the graphic novels for DW and Torchwood.

Yeah, Bay of the Dead was zombies which isn't my favorite but they did have some Janto, including the two of them delivering a baby! However, they had a sad part:

But Ianto shook his head, suddenly decisive. "No, if you're going, I'm coming with you."
"No way," Jack said. "My own stupidity I can live with. I'm not risking your life."
Now it was Ianto's turn to look determined. Drawing his gun, he said, "It's my decision, Jack. I chose to do this job. I know what the risks are."

(wibbles)

I loved The Lightning Thief, very interesting, I'm looking forward to the other three and wondering who's playing who in the film and yet I don't want to actually know at the same time, lol.
