Star Wars: The Clone Wars

ericadawn16I'm finally catching up on Star Wars: The Clones Wars and damn, it's good. I was a little disappointed earlier in the season and a little of last season because they hadn't been having the great female driven episodes like earlier in the series.
By female driven episodes, I mean that they have had multiple episodes revolving around Ahsoka, Padme, Asajj Ventress, Savage Opress and even an episode all about...Sy Snootles.
Yes, THAT Sy Snootles, the singer of the Max Rebo Band. They were episodes that would even pass the Bechdel Test.
However, this plotline with Ahsoka kind of makes up for that because it's so good, so involving and twisted...Ahsoka working with Ventress!
By the end, I found myself rooting for Ahsoka to leave the Jedi order. Plus, if she leaves, then she won't be involved in Order 66 and she'll get to live. Then, I can believe that there was some carbonite or freezing accident which means that Ahsoka will be in her twenties in Episode 7.
Because how cool would live action Ahsoka be in Episode 7?
Not only does this series have some of the best use of females in Science-Fiction television and Children's television period, the writing is awesome and the voice cast?
The voice cast includes all the regulars like Dee Bradley Baker, Tom Kane, Jim Cummings, etc. but also Tim Curry, Simon Pegg, David Tennant, Seth Green, George Takei, James Marsters, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and George Lucas.
It's Dave Filoni's baby. However, he actually incorporates fan suggestions and even made the 501st into canon. He also admitted once the series was a way of correcting the wrongs of the prequels.
Yes, the prequels could have been better, a LOT better but they made this series possible and for that, it was totally worth it.
