Oh man, those villains creeped me out too! And who knew Pepper could be such a BAMF? Will we see Rescue in the next movie? (This one strongly hinted at it.)
I got a kick out of seeing Tony having to do without the armor, and showing off his mad martial arts skills. I wonder if he's been training with Natasha and Clint?
I was really going along for the ride, and wasn't seeing any plot holes. I'm sure I'll start catching them on the next viewing. I would've liked to know more about why what happened in The Avengers affected him so much, but I guess since they had Tony keep dodging the question, they figured there was no point to that. I will say that I thought Tony's motivation to go after the Mandarin was as much about losing Coulson as it was about what happened to Happy. I think his great need to protect Pepper goes to that as well, in addition to the fear of another alien/supervillain attack. Wonder how pissed Tony's going to be when he finds out Coulson's alive? (Because we know he will be!)
