Democratic Email

I know it probably wasn't in every email nationally. They probably put that because of my location but I like to think it was the same email throughout the country.

However, they did leave out the best part...

Mike Fasano; Registered Republican, who had held the seat but gave it up to become tax collector, endorsed the DEMOCRAT over the Republican candidate that he said only catered to party whims and not what was best for the constituents.

Fasano is an awesome guy. I wish more Republican politicians were like him.

So there are still some rational Republican politicians out there. Sometimes I wonder if any are left in positions of power (Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey aside), what with things like deciding to shut down the government for two weeks, or whatever it was, because the Tea Party caucus was having a temper tantrum over Obamacare. You're very lucky to have a Republican politician who still cares about serving all his constituents, rather than just a small number of them (e.g. the Teabaggers, as Bill Maher likes to refer to them). *Nods*
