This new trailer looks like fun. It still has some cringey stuff but definitely more fun and MONKEY JACK!
Also, are the Young Jack Sparrow books officially movie canon now?
I still want to know what happened to James' cousin, Fitzwilliam P. Dalton the Third.

This actually looks good.

I still haven't seen On Stranger Tides, though. I wonder if you have to see that in order to know what's going on or if you can skip over Stranger Tides. I didn't even see Elizabeth and Will in this, so I'm assuming yes.

I would suggest skipping it. So far, the only carry over from On Stranger Tides is that we found out in that film that the Black Pearl had been shrunk and stuck in a bottle...I can't even remember why. In one of the trailers for the new film, you can see the Black Pearl in the bottle but obviously, everyone becomes their proper size again.

On Stranger Tides was so bad...so very, very, VERY BAD!!!
