It feels like this should have an exclamation point. Beyond!
First of all, Jaylah, I love her so fucking much. I'm not sure I could truly be happy with any sequels unless she was in it...although Saldana makes it sounds like they're done even though I really liked this one, so much better than ?Star Trek Into Darkness.
I love Beastie Boys but this film was preceded by TWO trailers that also used "Sabotage" and it was just...really? Even though it should have been awesome because it was actually a reference back to the first film. No joke about modern era music being called classical music will ever top "Toxic" in Doctor Who anyway.
I guessed the plot-twist way ahead of time and it's always disappointing when Idris Elba is the bad guy.
But Sulu gets to have a husband and child for a tiny 30 seconds or so...which is better than nothing? Are we seriously supposed to be happy about better than nothing?
So, the DC television series have awakened by slash goggles once again.
