This was Fort Walton Beach in March 2003 during my Spring Break.



It just fills me with rage that oil is washing ashore there right now.

I adore FWB. And Destin, Pensacola, well, all of the beaches in Florida. Of course my fondest memories are of Anna Maria Island and some of the keys in Sarasota and also, Fort Desoto.

I think I am beyond the point of rage for the most part and am simply feeling despair. I mean, of course, it still makes me angry and I rant about the spill daily, but mainly all I feel right now is intense sad.ness.
