I just don't understand...

How does someone expect to cut hundreds, if not thousands, of government jobs and expect the private sector to grow? How can one expect to cut prison costs by one billion dollars and not expect them to have to let prisoners loose?
I just don't understand Rick Scott at all.
Please God don't let him get elected.
However, I can't decide who to vote for in the Senate race. I can't let Marco Rubio win. I think Charlie stands a better chance of beating him, but then I feel a little bad for not voting for Kendrick. I voted for Charlie last time though.

Date: 2010-10-16 07:29 pm (UTC)Also, side note here, I hope you know that I was just teasing last night about the Silly Bandz. I'm sure they're cool. I just get asked a lot about them every shift at work and it gets annoying every now and then. :D

Also, I figure if you don't vote, you really don't have the right to complain if things aren't the way you like.

Date: 2010-10-16 07:41 pm (UTC)Right! My bro and my dad aren't registered to vote, so whilst I don't mind them talking a bit about politics, if they complain about something, I tell them to register to vote and change it. They just kind of go, "ehhhh."
Now, another thing I don't mind, is when the bright children who are not old enough to vote want to discuss politics. That I don't mind because they can't vote on account of age. It's not their fault. But for us over 18, yeah... it's a privilage, especially for us women! God bless America!

Date: 2010-10-16 07:34 pm (UTC)Rubio scares me. D= Ideally, Kendrick Meek would win, but if it comes down to the other two I'd rather have Crist in office than Rubio. It looks like Meek's been getting more support lately though.
And yes, I'm still registered to vote in Florida even though I'm living in NYC. XD"
