How does someone expect to cut hundreds, if not thousands, of government jobs and expect the private sector to grow? How can one expect to cut prison costs by one billion dollars and not expect them to have to let prisoners loose?

I just don't understand Rick Scott at all.

Please God don't let him get elected.

However, I can't decide who to vote for in the Senate race. I can't let Marco Rubio win. I think Charlie stands a better chance of beating him, but then I feel a little bad for not voting for Kendrick. I voted for Charlie last time though.

Thanks for the heads up about that! I'm trying to really pay attention to these elections. I even borrowed the pamphlet from my grandma to read over on the various things that want to get passed.

Yeah, I still need to read up on the Amendments, too.

Elections can be such a frustrating time, however, looking at how difficult it is for women in most countries to vote, it makes me really want to participate as much as I can.

Also, side note here, I hope you know that I was just teasing last night about the Silly Bandz. I'm sure they're cool. I just get asked a lot about them every shift at work and it gets annoying every now and then. :D

Before they came out with the TS3 ones, I was like, Those are the MOST stupid things EVER!

Then, they make them with Lotso and my tune changes, of course.

Also, I figure if you don't vote, you really don't have the right to complain if things aren't the way you like.

Haha well, as soon as they make something cool, it becomes cool. That's the rule, isn't it? :D

Right! My bro and my dad aren't registered to vote, so whilst I don't mind them talking a bit about politics, if they complain about something, I tell them to register to vote and change it. They just kind of go, "ehhhh."

Now, another thing I don't mind, is when the bright children who are not old enough to vote want to discuss politics. That I don't mind because they can't vote on account of age. It's not their fault. But for us over 18, yeah... it's a privilage, especially for us women! God bless America!

I saw one of Rick Scott's ads on TV when I was in Miami this summer. D= Good thing I have DVR so I could start fast-forwarding the moment I heard him call Obama a "Socialist" (and even if Obama was a Socialist, which he's not because he's too close to the center to be that far left, so what? =P).

Rubio scares me. D= Ideally, Kendrick Meek would win, but if it comes down to the other two I'd rather have Crist in office than Rubio. It looks like Meek's been getting more support lately though.

And yes, I'm still registered to vote in Florida even though I'm living in NYC. XD"

Do you have your absentee ballot? There's still plenty of time to order one if you haven't and we need all the help we can get.

Yeah, I kind of wish Obama would be more socialist, in terms of health care and jobs. I still want a return to the WPA. We'd get paid for doing a job and things would get done, like schools getting cleaned up and buildings being repainted.
