finally...
computer has new power supply and FIOS internet and I had to get a new iPod, too.
No more spending!
Except for Disney because they're lame and take things away.
Mom paid so I could see MegaMind earlier...so good. I thought it'd be jokey, that's the way they advertised it since it has Will Ferrell and Tina Fey, but it wasn't. It was almost...deep. In Toy Story, they addressed the question of, What is a toy's purpose in life and how does that affect everything? In Megamind, the question was, What is a supervillain's purpose in life? If they have no superhero to try and stop them, is there a point to being bad? Plus, the old conundrum of...do you have a destiny or can you decide your own destiny?
Honestly, it might have been even more serious than How to Train Your Dragon.
I thought I would be over this, but seeing all the ads for Deathly Hallows is making me so sad like back when the book came out. I can't believe it's so close to being over. It's been eleven years but my nephews are getting into it finally and it's so awesome to see them discovering it for the first time.
Ray Park put on a demonstration every day where he talked about growing up, training and working in films. Did you know he studied ballet? Yes, I totally have a crush on him every since I heard him talk with his real voice. Anyway, the demonstration also included getting all the children on stage and teaching them how to be a Sith like him. Jeremy Bulloch did it as well. Can you imagine Boba Fett with a lightsaber?
