Block Party Bash

Has anyone else seen the Block Party Bash with Lotso? Can you tell me whether this is normal?

(apologies for a combination of being too slow or shocked to take a picture at the right times)

It started off like any other Disney parade. Lotso rode in his float and was helped off. Then, Jessie started calling to him.



Jessie wanted Lotso to come up. He refused. He wanted her to come down. Jessie came down and they hugged. Both went to say hello to fans.

Then...


Lotso went for another hug which turned into trying to pick Jessie up. Jessie punches him so Lotso is stunned which she uses to put him in a headlock. Lotso's handlers rush over so she lets him go. They decide to go opposite ways.


Lotso hugs Mr. Potatohead and goes off to see fans far away from Jessie.


When he comes back, Jessie is on the opposite side of her float and Woody is on Lotso's side.


They dance.


In between dancing, they spar a little and shove each other but it seems playful...


They seem to be friends...



Then...


Woody says to keep dancing so Lotso does and Woody dances behind him...


Woody grabs Lotso's tail and pulls. Lotso tries to run away making things worse. Lotso's handlers once again have to come to his rescue and give Woody dirty looks until he lets go. Jessie comes over in a little bit and they look at each other. Then, Lotso shoves her and they go their separate ways again. Everyone dances and is returned to their floats.

The Green Army Man says for Lotso to lift up his leg "for three hours".


However, Jessie continues to wave to Lotso and act like he should come over to her float.


Lotso is perplexed.


Then, the parade leaves.

Wow. I haven't seen it, but that really just doesn't seem right. If it was part of the show I would think that other characters would come to break up the fight - not the handlers.

Plus that just doesn't seem very Disney at all.

I propose you go back and watch the show again to be certain!

Wow! I agree with mascaret, it's the handlers coming to break up the fight that seems really odd.

Wow, that sounds really strange. I agree with the other comments, if the fighting was planned it wouldn't make sense for the handlers to break things up. Let us know if you find out what's going on!
