Are we sure that no one is attempting what they did on FlashForward?

Thousands of birds fell to the ground dead in Arkansas. Then, 100,000 fish turned up dead, too.

I heard about the birds, too. But I haven't read the article yet. The stuff about the fish is new to me, though =|.

Are we sure that no one is attempting what they did on FlashForward?

Ooh, creepy idea =\! My first thought when I saw the headline wasn't that, but this: "So it's 2011—A year, eleven months, and twenty days before the Mayan Calendar ends. Maybe December 21, 2012 won't be just a simple change in a normal cycle, and this is the start of something really bad D=." Just now, I was reminded of the verse in the book of Revelation that says one third of all life in the ocean will die =[. *Looks over what I wrote* *headslap* Sorry for the morbid subject matter :}, but for some reason, that sort of stuff has always fascinated me 8}.

That was my first thought, too, but I figured there was some sort of explanation or people going crazy b/c it's now 2011. Today I saw this on Yahoo! News: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110107/ap_on_sc/us_sci_dead_wildlife_fact_check
