If my computer wants a break from me, it will do so by any means necessary including acting like its video card is dead so it can be babysat by Best Buy all day and act fine for them.
I'm also tempted to think it was all an evil ploy by my computer to force me to buy a better cable. However, that was complete ignorance. No one had explained before that the cable was the equivalent of using analog with a digital device.
In related news: Best Buy has the WORST hold music EVER! It's the same one minute piano tune over and over and over and...
it could easily be turned into a form of torture.
