I watched the two-parter that opened this season, and I thought to myself, "Wow, this is a show for children, and they're not dumbing it down at all." That was a very structurally-complicated two scripts there.

When did we decide that children - who learn to read in a very short space of time, who learn to speak the English language within a year and a half, who can learn anything faster than you or I - are stupid? They're bored by different things, and there are some complicated emotions that can be confusing to them. But I always get gobsmacked when people say that. Have you seen what they're reading? Harry Potter? These great big doorstops of books! And children who watch television, watch it like this (he folds his hands under his chin and stares intently at an imaginary screen). And if there's something that maybe makes them say, "I didn't quite understand that, Dad, what happened?" and they have a conversation about it, can someone tell me what's wrong with that?

In both the library two-parter and the angels two-parter, we got the sense that River and the Doctor's encounters have been extremely out of order. But when she appears at the start of this current season, she says, basically, that they've been traveling in exactly opposite directions.

No, she's talking poetically.

Finally! I've had so many people telling me that it was literal and I just didn't see why or how!

I am both rational and instinctive. I value self-knowledge and understanding of the world; my ultimate goal is self-improvement and improvement of the world around me. At best, I am focused and methodical; at worst, I am obsessive and amoral.

Dear Representative Nugent,

First of all, I want to say thank you for introducing the OPT-OUT legislation for your retirement benefits and salary.

However, we do have some disagreements. For example, just because the majority of manatees winter in King's Bay doesn't mean they leave it alone entirely during the other months. It still deserves to be protected especially when there is plenty of other lovely areas to do water recreation in; both freshwater and ocean. I know you said you were voting according to the local government's wishes but we fought a whole civil war over how local governments don't always know best.

What I really wanted to speak to you about today though is abortion. Most world religions agree that abortion is permissible in the early stages and/or if the mother's life is at risk. You've stipulated many times how you cannot support abortion or services that are in any way financed by tax payers. In fact, there are laws on the books banning such. However, by allowing the federal government to mandate abortion as wrong when so many religions will permit it in special circumstances means that our government is adhering to one specific form of religion to mandate laws. This isn't right. It's unconstitutional and it makes me feel as though my Christianity isn't the "right one" according to my government because I feel abortion should be left to the couple and their doctor or the mother and her doctor, not complete strangers. Our country and our district are made up of many viewpoints about religion, including Atheism, and we don't deserve to have what our religious viewpoints should be dictated to us by the government. Perhaps instead of worrying about love life and religion, you and the government should be trying to create jobs and making sure the next generation has the tools to succeed even though their schools are repeatedly ransacked of funds, they're more likely than ever to be obese or malnourished and have a life expectancy that's one of the lowest of the civilized nations?

Thank you for your time,

*We'll see how he responds to that.*

So, I guess I'll be getting the BluRay because I could watch this scene over and over and over...

Does Charles say "darling" or is that just me?

Probably just me...

Day 9: A picture of your favorite Disney restaurant

I couldn't find any of my newer photos of The Land at Epcot so this is a postcard from 1989 but it's close enough.

The Land is awesome. It's a cafeteria full of stuff for everyone especially vegetarians and vegans! Other than Whole Foods, it's the only place where we've been able to find Silk Yogurt and Vegan potato salad on a regular basis.

I know, that's sad. The Land also really friendly employees that really go that extra Disney mile. They even have mini parades with the children.

Runner Up would be the Werther shop in Germany, so much chocolate...so little time...

Day 10: A picture of your favorite ride or attraction

The Haunted Mansion ever since I was six. Hopefully, the new movie will be everything I've always wanted. It is del Toro.

*fingers crossed*

Day 11: A picture of the thing you wish you could change about the parks

I loved the skyride. It was awesome but now the building is a sad reminder of what it used to be there. It needs a purpose again. I hoped they would include it somehow in the expansion but it doesn't look like it.

Also, I think they should redo the eating area beside Star Tours and do a proper Star Wars playground.

Day 12: A picture of your favorite Disney food item

I love all the gingerbread stuff they do.

As for eating, way too many choices...

Day 13: A picture of your favorite “home” resort

I love all the resorts for different reasons so I went for the first pretty photo I had of one. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is the only place on Disney property to have Zebras, too.

Day 14: A picture of your favorite night time activity (existing or past) on Disney property

Watching fireworks, of course!

Day 15: A picture of what you do when it rains in the park

It's not that big of a deal when most of the rides are inside anyway. The only time I remember it ruining our plans was that one of the Hyperspace Hooplas had to be canceled at the last minute.
