I haven't seen this photo before. This is Scott Olsen from Tuesday night.


Scott Olsen is a former Marine who served in Iraq and worked in computer systems. His veterans group would go to Occupy events after work and this time, they chose Oakland where police decided to remove protestors after possible complaints. Olsen was wounded in the head from a police projectile and when people came to his aid, police threw a smoke bomb that hampered their efforts.

I worried for the worst but despite a skull fracture and brain swelling, he's in fair condition, communicating with those at his bedside and expected to regain being able to talk once the fracture is repaired!

I know I'm supposed to think she supports female empowerment or whatever, but let's face it...she was a spoiled brat whose best talent was being able to manipulate people to do what she wanted.

It would be Mammy because she's one of the very few characters with any sense at all. I actually use her tip about eating before a party. It's a really good idea because you never know when you'll actually get to eat or what they'll have.



Although I do have a special fondness for Prissy because Butterfly McQueen was born in Tampa.

Actually, I love all the background stuff especially with Gerald O'Hara and how his family came to America and how he married his wife and how they ended up in Atlanta.
