So, my mom and I were at Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney. My favorite part of that store is the Marvel/Muppet section. This time it had the paperback adaptation for Civil War.
First of all, it's thick...410 pages. Then, there is the paper itself...it's a nice paper, not the kind that you could tear if you just sneezed wrong.
So, we were both looking at and she asks me, "Does it have everyone in it?"
This has always been a pet peeve of mine whether it's merchandising that only includes four Avengers or comics that don't fully use their integrated world.
I start naming off the characters I find skimming through it: Sue Storm, The Punisher, Peter Parker, DareDevil, Wolverine.
"If they do it right, it should even have the Young Avengers," I add.
I assumed that this was just her being curious/polite but she bought the book and after I read it, SHE'S GOING TO READ IT!
She doesn't do comic books. The only comic books she has read were Archie and the first book of Road to Perdition so I'm totally excited.
