ericadawn16: (Whatever)
In a recent Entertainment Weekly, Catherine Keener and Mark Ruffalo listed the films that every young actress should watch. They had me until Lovely & Amazing. I love Catherine Keener but my mom and I actually saw this for her cinematic husband, Clark Gregg. Unfortunately, his character tends to be an asshole and nobody else is much more likable than that.

So, I thought...I bet I could find ten better Catherine Keener films than that.

However, they're in alphabetical order because I wimped out.

Begin Again
Being John Malkovich
Capote
The Croods
The 40-Year-Old Virgin
Full Frontal
Hamlet 2
Into the Wild
Peace, Love & Misunderstanding
The Soloist

I think I agree with his assessment. Kill the Messenger was one of the trailers before Snowpiercer. It looked so good! Although my mom was concerned about it, "but does it end better than the last one?" aka The Immigrant.

Also, the next issue is finally coming out and Amazon has informed me that Hawkeye, Vol. 3: L.A. Woman has been pushed back to October, or as my mom puts it, Never. Now that I have a dependable comics source, I should probably just buy them there but I do love the convenience of multiple issues comprised in one volume.

P.S. I know a Doctor Strange casting announcement is coming this month and being a fan, I should have strong convictions about who should be cast.

I don't. I'm good with any skin color, too, as long as he has that touch of grey in his hair like Rogue and Reed.

My only stipulation is that he not be played by Jon Hamm, Johnny Depp or Benedict Cumberbatch.
