Peggy Carter, Bisexual
Aug. 13th, 2015 12:42 amOkay, in June, Hayley Atwell was asked:
"Do you think peggy carter would identify as bisexual?"
Atwell replied, "I don't see why not, she's a modern day woman."
Some felt this was a flippant response that made it seem like all women are capable of bisexuality but I saw it more as Peggy has already attained that status of a 60s liberated woman in the 1940s; she's okay by her sexuality, including any desires she might have and she doesn't feel ashamed of what they might be.
Honestly, why aren't more people talking about Atwell thinking Peggy could be bisexual? Could Peggy Carter be our first official, outed in scripted form LGBTQA character in the MCU?
I want it. I want it so much.
Also, please have Verity Willis someday. She's the only confirmed Asexual in Marvel comics history.
P.S. Atwell has also said that if the writers don't make Cartinelli a reality that "We'll just like make out and dub smash it some cool, sexy song...for the fans."
