The Keys to the Kingdom by Garth Nix
How the Old Woman Got Home by M. P. Shiel
The Flame Trees of Thika by Elspeth Huxley
The All Jahdu Storybook by Virginia Hamilton and Barry Moser

I enjoyed The Glamour Chase. Nuclear Time, not so much.

Nuclear Time SUCKED!!!!

In fact, it sucked so badly I had to look up who did it and found out it was a 24 year old...explains so much.

You know, I only chose it because it had Rory on the cover.

A 24-year-old? Yeesh.

Although a lot of great fic is written by people even younger than that...... there is so much fanfic that's better than the garbage that actually gets published.
