Umm, What?

LiveJournal has been placed on a spam-block list by an external service used by several email providers. As a result, notifications that are ordinarily sent via email providers that use this spam-blocking service (such as Yahoo!) are not being delivered. We're working very hard to get LiveJournal removed from this spam-block list.

I think I might be receiving my notifications correctly. My last notification was the same time as it was commented instead of days/hours later.

So *fingers crossed*

Also, you mean I have 207 messages in my spam folder and that's the spam that MADE IT?!!!

huh

Lol, well it's not like they ever sent my notifications in a timely manner anyway. xD
At best I can hope for a notification two days after the event has actually occurred.

Really?

Mine were clockwork until 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Yeah, apparently LJ is really inconsistent with the timing on their notifications. =/

I had never problems in the past but since probably a week I don't get any notifications at all.

I'm not getting my fic notifications. The ones where I have tracked authors in certain comms, etc.

-_-

And to further prove this point...I just NOW received notification for this message.

However, I did get all my correct notifications today...

Once I hadn't got any LJ notifications for months and in the end I figured out that Hotmail automatically put it on my account's block list for some reason or another (along with some more addresses I've never blocked) so the emails weren't delivered at all, not even in the spam folder, but were deleted halfway by Hotmail. Never would've found out about it had I not been messing around in my account options and accidentally stumbled upon the block list.

I had hotmail once. Then, after the third or fourth or fifth time they told me that my account had "possibly" been compromised, I left them.

That was 12 years ago.

pf, yeah, it's typical microsoft quality. But it's fine for not-so-important messages, like university mails and notifications, 'cos there's no way I'm giving them my gmail address.
Gotta say hotmail was still a lot more usable before it was renamed to windows live mail. Must be name magic.
