A few months ago, Isaac informs me how Eric's in Tampa, skateboarding which is understandable. They've been to the skate park before. Then, he tells me how Eric is also driving a police car...
Police car???
Yeah, on the game, it's a video game, Tony Hawk Underground, it has a whole Tampa level and it's not even a new game. It's from 2003 and yet I didn't know about it until now, but it's really cool!!!
However, they did take some liberties, like moving the 2001 nudie spaceship downtown and removing the art museum entirely, but take a look:
Sadly, my first comment is that they didn't include the revolving glass doors. I love those! They were one of the best parts to cashing my check there rather than the Hyde Park one. I don't recall ever seeing Iron Man there either...
LOL, they made the Beer Can Building hollow inside! I couldn't find a good video or picture, but if you skate right to the edge of the river, like on the Kennedy Bridge or over where the Magic Square should be and look directly across the river, you will see an outline of minarets with Vaughn Hall in the background. My alma mater's in a video game!!! Woo, how many people can say that?
