They're all wonderful and beautiful. I've even been able to see The Edinburgh Trader in person BUT there is one ship that I've been really excited about ever since I got this toy.

The Empress!!!

DRAGON CANNONS!!!! Plus, it has the best crew. ;)

I think you'll have to go to the Bahamas to see The Empress. Last I heard, though it's been quite awhile since then, The Empress and The Flying Dutchman were still scuttled in the Bahamas.
Did you get to see The Black Pearl when she stopped in Tampa? She seems so much bigger on film.

I don't know where the Empress is but the Dutchman is gone...I even heard she might have been dismantled.

The last I heard the Empress was scuttled somewhere near Grand Lucaya in the Bahamas.

Your definitely one up on me regarding the Flying Dutchman. I thought she was still at the disney island in the Bahamas. Sad to hear that she was dismantled. But I guess when you have a big prop ship (ie no engines,etc.) eventually that's going to happen.

Now, the Black Pearl.
I do believe she stopped for a day in Tampa, when she was making the trip from Louisiana to the Bahamas for the making of POTC 2 & 3. But, I don't know if it was an announced visit. Not a "Hey, everybody, come down to the port and see the Black Pearl."
I found out about it being here, because I looked out the window and saw an all black pirate ship pulling into the port. Not something you see everyday. Myself and everyone else in the office, suddenly felt the need for coffee break and a stretch of the legs. They didn't let anyone on board, but some of the crew were willing to answer some questions.

Later on, during the afternoon news, they said the Black Pearl was in town and if you wanted to get a look you'd better do it soon, cause it was leaving in the morning for the Bahamas.

Damn, but I probably wouldn't have been able to get to Tampa in time. I don't have a car...but someday, I'll see her. I also want to see the Lady Washington.

I did do the Tall Ship event last summer.
