Miracle Day

Last night, I had a dream about Miracle Day. I was watching Access Hollywood or something similar. They were talking with John Barrowman and everyone along with a proper trailer! It looked really awesome except I kept expecting Ianto to show up. Then, they had Weird Al on and it turned out that he had written a song for it. Oddly enough it was "American Pie" which he had already used for "Episode One" but then I don't remember the lyrics too well except "it was the day that no one died"...

He must have reworded the line from American Pie "that'll be the day that I die". You're probably too young to have been around when that song first came out--it is about the death of Buddy Holly if I remember right. Always loved that song.

That is the way that Weird Al works, in 1999, he did do American Pie as a parody with Episode 1 so that the chorus was Oh my my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
"Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

The crash also killed Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper. La Bamba was the first film where I remember crying.
