So, BBCA used to have news from 6-8 AM and 7-8 PM. When I'm forced against my will to be up at 6 AM, I'm not going to be watching news. I'm going to be watching Angel on TNT. The other day was the one where they first move into the hotel, aww, good times, anyway...

I used to watch the evening news from time to time. Then, they dropped it and said to watch on PBS. Fine, I could do that unless...you use that extra five hours a week to show something awesome like Coupling or My Family or something else upbeat that you haven't shown in a while.

So, what do they decide to do with those extra five hours?

MORE TOP GEAR!!!

WTF? Is Jay Leno paying you or something? I'm so sick of that show.

I still want to know why the hell they show X-Files on BBC America. Though it does mean I get to watch it more, so it's a win I guess. Just a confusing win. Does Gillian Anderson being sort of British grant it access to that channel or something?

I know, I thought maybe that was why they show the "Fire" episode ALL THE TIME!

I mean dammit, I'd like to see DPO for one thing...Jack Black?

Anyway, yeah, this is only acceptable if they're saving money so they can spend it on Primeval.

Also, just having Patrick Stewart doesn't make Star Trek British but now they're showing it instead of Torchwood and next month they're getting one of those Syfy shows I never watched that never seemed British either.

Why am I having to watch British programming on SEVEN different channels instead of just PBS and BBCA as God intended????

I'm sick of BBC America's programming PERIOD. The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek...NONE OF THESE ARE BRITISH SHOWS! (And no, having Patrick Stewart on Star Trek does not count!) With the huge library of BBC stuff they could be showing, they're choosing to show American shows? Where's Classic Doctor Who, Monty Python, Coupling, Life on Mars, Absolutely Fabulous, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served?, Red Dwarf, Lovejoy, All Creatures Great and Small, Keeping Up Appearances, etc. etc. Not to mention all the new shows that regular BBC has on currently.

The only new thing BBCA is showing that there can even be a remote argument for is The Tudors, but since I've already seen it, I'm not thrilled to have that on either.

They're not even showing Cash in the Attic anymore. I used to like watching that.

Yeah...like Monty Python is on IFC or Sundance, Sundance also has Shameless. Absolutely Fabulous is on Logo while Are You Being Served? and Keeping Up Appearances continue to be on PBS but I hate having to watch seven different channels when they should all just be on PBS and BBCA as God intended!

I had to watch Strange and Spine Chillers on the Chiller channel! They had a bunch of other British shows, too...and why isn't America getting Misfits???

Eh, I gave up on The Tudors. It was boring.

Cash in the Attic was okay, but what I really miss is when they had Coupling on at all hours especially now when people are curious about Moffat but don't know his background at all, not even Jekyll. Plus, Leverage is a hit but people don't know Gina Bellman's background either...

I also want This Life which even had Martin Freeman in a couple of episodes!

That reminds me, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim doesn't have The Office or The Mighty Boosh or any of the awesome Brit stuff they used to have either.

My only consolation is if they're saving money to use on Primeval.
