Jury Duty

I've never done this before. I just got here and I'm waiting with everyone else. My mom made me change my Chucks though...claimed they weren't courtroom attire, but that ended up good because I had to take them off and the HiTops would have taken forever.

Still, it seems a bit lame to have all the precautions for an airplane without getting to go anywhere.

Geez! Your jury process sounds even more boring than ours.

They didn't make us swear anything unless we were picked. For us, if you're not picked for a jury, you get sent back down to the juror room on the first floor and either get reassigned to another judge for a second go around (if it's a busy day) or wait around several hours until being sent home. It's either one full day, so you're stuck until 4:30PM, or one case.
