Ikea

Apparently, I'm not an Ikea person. Yesterday, after Adventure Island, we went to the new Ikea on Adamo and...it's like the store is this monster that tries to trick people into staying forever. They would have these signs that said "EXIT" and then we would wander for about a day and not be any closer. Instead, there would be more signs claiming, "EXIT". I'm not normally that claustrophobic, but it had room after room with no windows like a labyrinth.

I suppose it's a good store if you need cheap mugs to replace the ones you destroyed while you were shagging the boss...but that's not me.

I suppose I'll go back someday, but not for a very long or a very good reason.

Haha, I totally agree. I mean, IKEA is great for cheap furniture wares and stuff, but you end up being there for HOURS even if you didn't intend to.

An IKEA came here last year. It's huge and commercial. TOO large and you can tell they're trying to make you stay by having a restaurant and a kid's look after station type service. I've only been there twice.

I do like hidden stairs and security doors, but I'm not an employee so I don't think I'll ever get to see those.

The things they do definitely makes sense business wise. On the upside I did like the food.:D

Oh my god, I hate Ikea with a passion. I can never find the department I'm looking for! Then, once I wander through all the stuff I don't need, I get to the department I want, only to find they're out of stock of the particular item I seek. Pissed, I go in search of the exit, and get abysmally lost on the way there. And then I curse. My dear, I feel your pain.

Seriously, what did we ever do to Sweden to make them so angry? It's not fair.
