Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil
Jun. 30th, 2009 04:08 pmHas anyone tried this? I'm really picky about my mayonnaise. I HATE Miracle Whip or any of that watered down salad dressing stuff. It has to taste good on its own, mixed with ketchup or mixed with peanut butter. I like mayonnaise and I like olive oil, I'm just not sure about them together so has anyone tasted it? Does anyone know of a restaurant that uses it so I could try it without having to buy the whole thing?

I mean, it doesn't taste like nuts or anything, but it's got just a little bit of a darker flavor to it. It's not as light tasting as regular mayonnaise. That little touch of citrus you get with regular mayonnaise is a bit more hidden.
I saw that Winn-Dixie "Getting Better (at raising prices) Everyday" & Pubelix "Where Shoplifting is a Pleasure" both have it on BOGO.
If you like a little bit deeper, olive oil flavor you might like it. It was fine for me, but I do still prefer regular mayo.
