Cutest Limo Driver Ever!

I also loved the scene with Anwen and actually watching the scene, it isn't really the pink as much as her mother's interference in her daughter's life. I never would have suspected from "Something Borrowed" or "The Stolen Earth" how much they don't really get along. I suppose, as evidenced by the pink, that her mum always wanted a more traditional, more feminine daughter and tried to mold Gwen accordingly which might also be why Gwen rebells so much against tradition, including keeping Cooper as her last name?

I also love Esther now they've forgotten about the plot-line with her sister and the mooning over Rex...the kiss on Jack's cheek was just ADORABLE!

Okay, just from a casting standpoint, here's my problem with the camp scenes in San Diego or wherever:
Fred Koehler

Now, a lot of people really liked him which is cool but for now...I'm stilled ruined by Lost, Castle and Bones. They've established that if Fred Koehler is a guest star, someone IS going to die and he's probably going to kill them.

I really miss aliens...maybe not the puking, farting ones but if I want to watch about how the government is corrupt, I have two channels of CSpan, about ten different news channels and The Daily Show/Colbert Report. Whereas when I watch Doctor Who and its related properties...I'm looking for escapism, or at the very least, a story that convinces me everything will be alright by having a woman remember her raggedy doctor on her wedding day or that it's fine not to like the same thing as everyone else because it could secretly be produced by aliens trying to take over the world...or mice...

Here's the other thing...I wasn't that upset by Vera's death. Obviously, the whole being burned alive thing and the Nazi parallels...eww, but...

I didn't feel for her or Rex that much. I had to wonder whether I was becoming cold and callous until tonight's episode of Rescue Me. It has them coming to a gas smell call where they find a male and two children on the couch. They look like they could be asleep but they're dead and we're allowed to see the disappointment from those firefighters at not being able to do anything. It's so understated which is why it works so well. It moved me where Vera's death had not.

Non-evil Indian if possible?

Okay, not sure how it is in the rest of the world. Here, in America, we have a lot of Indian doctors and they are often named Patel. However, they are very NICE people so I don't get why Torchwood seems to feel all Indian doctors are evil. Did Rusty or someone have a bad experience once? Ex-boyfriend? What?

Still, missing aliens rather than this lesson rammed down my throat of how people would rather follow orders than rock the boat and get fired...well, DUH especially when unemployment's through the roof!

Also, since we've covered the repercussions on the food supply, drugs, etc.
What about the funeral homes and associated businesses? I don't recall this being addressed in the show. Are the governments setting up special funds to retrain them in other areas or what? Are they now having funerals for animals? They stress the miracle is related to humans so I'm assuming Fido is still at risk.

Rhys continues to be adorable.

I'm not sure how to take the coat scene. I guess it is strictly for laughs and not character development related at all.

I forget who it was on my FList but yeah, I can't hear "The Blessing" without adding "Way". Oh good times, that show actually had aliens AND government conspiracy TOGETHER at the same time without being all frustrating...well, the last few seasons were frustrating but that was unrelated to government conspiracies.

Also, I'm reminded of Fight the Future where FEMA, now Homeland Security, would launch an alien virus that would enable them to do a lock down and whatever the hell they wanted.

Dude, Rex, seriously? You're going to TELL the bad guy how you have it all filmed on this handy dandy camcorder with the ONLY copy in the whole world? Did you lose brain cells while being supposed to be dead?
Geez, at least Gwen was like, And my husband has the copy at an undisclosed location in CoE.

Pen thing=EWWWW!!!!

Yay!!! Esther is now officially my favorite new character. She got to kick ASS!

Luckily, bad guys leave explosives just lying around and that, unlike America, no one's been moved into the modules yet...

Rex is being likable! Maybe Vera did fuck some sense into him.

So, they were able to use the contacts because they hacked into the program or got their own copy or...what? Because it's not like a phone where we can just call them up or something...

I thought this was supposed to be more of a global miniseries? Britain, the US and China do not "global" make. Also, the scene where half the soldiers are smoking...is the US known in Britain as this huge land of smokers or what? Or is it just for convenience?

However, I am totally looking forward to next week: Jack being forced to tell us stuff, woo! Also, Jack in period costume that's not his usual attire! Possibly even more butt shots!

Off-Topic...ooh, Burn Gorman in The Hour...

Fred Koehler <---- I KNOW! and I was only reacting to him because he played the murderer in an episode of the Mentalist.

I was content with Vera being dead it works for me.

Especially because kitten-esque Esther was just too damned cute for words! I mean she chased the ball of yarn it led to trouble but then *with assistance from Jack* she forgot all about it and then was like LOOK STRING and chased it again and then this time *paw* repercussions for string chasing? Now she is has reached I am a kitten and can pounce- pouncing bad? No... well okay then!

I liked that Rex encouraged her for having killed jerkface.

Even if I liked that jerkface killed Esther *good riddance to waste of screentime*

I feel like aliens or interdimensional whosiwhasits aren't impossible as a resolution yet because things are pretty much beyond some guys messing with alien tech at this point.

Anwen continues to be alive and a baby and that better not change soon.

Doctor who is currently doing the they grow up so fast given River, so unless we are making the two playmates Anwen better stay a baby and adorable!
