I enjoyed it. It's not a laugh riot but it's a nice movie with some humor here and there. Rashida Jones was really cute in it. Zooey Deschanel and Paul Rudd were naked for a little but Steve Coogan was like 98% naked for a whole scene. By 98% naked, I mean naked except for holding his hands over his bits.
100% nudity would be like Ewan McGregor in the first ten or fifteen minutes of Velvet Goldmine...ooh, that's a nice movie...Ewan McGregor has sex with Christian Bale in it. ;)
Also, I forgot to mention another thing I loved about Fright Night
The stake was brilliant. Stake the original vampire and all his creations revert back to their original form. I've definitely seen variations where you kill the original werewolf and everyone gets to be normal again but I don't remember this particular twist before. Even my mom thought it was genius and wondered why more people didn't use it.
Also, in regards to Doctor Who, that was the best kiss since Jack bought Ianto back to life...
CPR, my ass

yeaah
Velvet goldmine? All I can see in my head is a very soft golden cave.

In that form the rule has been used other places since. Not sure about if it was used other places before the original film. I'm sick and fuzzy brained tonight. I just remember how it went in the original and in some stuff since right now.
