Date: 2011-09-23 04:26 am (UTC)As for how mainstream Doctor Who is, I've found toys at Toys'R'us and both toys and shirts at FYE. Plus, BBCA always shows a TON of Doctor Who commercials during the Daily Show and Colbert Report right before the season premieres.
Yeah, it was standard Community jokiness, not as much as their made up British Cougartown.
