Okay, I want to like it: great cast, intriguing premise but...

Even if everyone blacked out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds, why is everything SO fucked up?

Okay, I get that somehow every SINGLE car on the road managed to cause an accident which will probably do better numbers than Cash for Clunkers could even dream of...

And there were planes...don't they have auto-pilots that kick in like for cases like that? At least on Air Force Two??

BUT what is up with the all the fires?? I know it's pretty and helps illustrate the point of everything being fucked up, but I don't see a reason for it. The fires are in the upper stories so it can't be from cars. There are no large holes or gaps from planes or cranes hitting them. They look like business buildings so it can't be that someone left the oven on. Unless I'm supposed to believe that many people have hot plates in their office that they were using at the same time that caused fires?

And there just happened to be a vehicle carrying a kangaroo?

At least on Lost, they were on a messed up island, I could understand that.

Still, it's a minor nitpick and shouldn't even matter by next week.

Also, I hope that one guy's Flash Forward does come true...Rays rally from three runs down to beat the Red Sox AT Fenway? AWESOME!

Dammit, I just checked. On April 28th, 2010, we're playing Oakland and on the 29th, Kansas City, but we are playing at Fenway on the 16th-19th.

(Fingers crossed that he was reading an old paper.)

Lloyd's son called Olivia by name on the gurney even though they'd never met before so obviously, she was in his Flash Forward.

Oh, that's right, I'd forgotten :P. I remember that was one of my "Hang on a minute, how did he/she know that?" moments while I was watching. Hmmm..., very, very interesting. I'm curious about what Mark & Olivia's daughter saw in hers, and why she described it as "a bad dream". Guess we'll find out next week :).

Well, Charlie must only be about three or so, which means it could be anything especially when her parents don't appear to be doing well, her mom has this non-daddy person over, there's this new boy playing with her toys and taking attention from her and her real daddy is drinking a lot.

All very true, you could be right :]. I'm thinking it's something else, though, judging from how concerned she was about Lloyd's son, and her answer that she'd never seen Lloyd before when Olivia asked her about him. Telling Mark that "D. Gibbons is a bad man" was a big hint about what she saw, I think. It looks like we're going to meet him this week, so I guess we'll see if that's true or not :).

I hope Dom's finally on...

(fingers crossed)

Have you got a chance to start reading "But Time Didn't Stop" yet?

Same here :]. After the episode aired, I was like, "Wait a minute, what happened to the scene between Jack and Dominic Monaghan in Lloyd's car =/?". I very clearly remember seeing a bit of it in the preview after episode one, and figured we'd see it last week. But maybe it was a teaser for the next episodes following last week's, as we also saw a bit of the role Dom's character is going to play during the rest of the season in that same preview.

I have, and I really liked it, especially the Captain John, Ianto, and Jack POV parts 8). Great title, too :)! More complete explanations of why are in the e-mail response I'm currently working on :].
