Support Local Businesses

Don't use this to limit yourself or feel you can't contribute.
All it takes is at least once a week, pledge to purchase from a local business. It doesn't have to be something big. Even something as little as a cup of coffee from a family-owned restaurant. a fifty cent item from a local thrift store or a piece of fruit from a farmer's market can make a difference.
If you care about your community, try to support the businesses you want to succeed. Unfortunately, money often speaks louder than words, like when people complained about people having to work on Thanksgiving but proceeded to spend so much money that next year will probably be even earlier.
