Whenever I hear the word "platypus", I always think of Dogma:

Disclaimer: 1) a renunciation of any claim to or connection with; 2) disavowal; 3) a statement made to save one's own ass.
Though it'll go without saying ten minutes or so into these proceedings, View Askew would like to state that this film is - from start to finish - a work of comedic fantasy, not to be taken seriously. To insist that any of what follows is incendiary or inflammatory is to miss our intention and pass undue judgment; and passing judgment is reserved for God and God alone (this goes for you film critics too...just kidding).
So please - before you think about hurting someone over this trifle of a film, remember: even God has a sense of humor. Just look at the Platypus.
Thank you and enjoy the show.
P.S. We sincerely apologize to all Platypus enthusiasts out there who are offended by that thoughtless comment about the Platypi. We at View Askew respect the noble Platypus, and it is not our intention to slight these stupid creatures in any way.
Thank you again and enjoy the show.

Of course now, we also have Agent P!

Oddly enough, I'm watching the Doctor Who two parter with Thomas Sangster aka Ferb on Phineas and Ferb.

Why does platypus remind you of Dogma? Whenever I hear the song 'A, B, C' it reminds me of Dogma

Oh, I tried to explain in the post by quoting the beginning disclaimer of the film...

Actually, Dogma had Candy Girl by New Edition, ABC by the Jackson 5 was in Clerks 2.

I love Kevin Smith...just not enough to have seen Red State...

LOVE Agent P he is the coolest platypus ever. This is one of the few cartoons that my whole family loves to watch together. We usually slate some time to see what kookie thing Phineas and Ferb will come up with next.

Hehe, I love the movie although it's always sad when they have to get their memories wiped and Perry's looking at the photos alone.

It made me sad as well especially since it reminded me of Donna Noble's fate as well. But the kiss Isabella did was perfect!!

Damn, you're right although I still hope that once Phineas and Ferb grow up, they could all have adventures together...unlike Donna who can't know anything or she'll die...

*grr*

Kiss was perfect. It's just a good movie all the way around...I remember hesitating about deleting it off the dvr. It also would have been awesome if they would make a DW reference especially with the British connection and Thomas Sangster...

OH if they made a DW reference that would have been perfect. Yeah I think that the boys and perry might actually have new adventures once they are older.
