I read that "tongue in cheek" article about Joey being cursed because everyone connected with him (the main) ended up dead or seriously injuried. It was actually an amusing article. However, if anything, maybe it should be Joey's revenge not that he was bringing a curse to people. For example, riding horses head long into machine guns warrants the horse throwing the rider off in front of him to save his (the horse's) life. The father blamely the horse when it was his fault that he bought a thorobred instead of a plow horse. Overall, I really liked the move, but I am a sucker for any animal films. I think the horse that played Joey is the same horse that played Seabicuit.
