I stole this meme from

However, "favorite song"? Singular? Geez, I can't do that so Top Four in Alphabetical Order!!!
Highwaymen by Highwaymen- It had my three favorite things when I was five: cowboys, pirates and spacemen...obviously, I haven't changed much.
Red Right Hand by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds- I know it borders on over-used, but when I hear it, I still get chills from the melody. When John C Reilly was on something and it was used in a clip for Cirque du Freak, it was another indication that it might be something I'd really love and I was right.
Summertime Blues by Alan Jackson- My favorite Alan Jackson song. It and Be My Baby Tonight by John Michael Montgomery first got me started on listening to the radio. My mom actually called the station and requested it for me. It's the only time she's ever done that.
Thriller by Michael Jackson- I hear the first few notes and it's like I'm five again, listening to my mom's record. Now, I was never a huge fan of the video, but they made a new one!!! It's awesome. It has zombies with period costumes, it's like...Thriller + Haunted Mansion = Erica melting into puddle of happy goo. However, you have to see This is It in order to see that version.
BTW, This is It is totally awesome! I'd always grown up with hearing how fantastic Michael's dancing is, but it didn't really hit me until seeing it on the BIG screen! Simply AMAZING. We had thirty minutes before going in for The Men Who Stare at Goats and my mom's like, You want to watch Michael?
So, we did and it was even better the second time.
I did intend to have a Top Five, but I couldn't find a fifth that I was as madly in love with and I love all the Green Day songs too equally.
