Okay, my fellow comic book people, Kate Bishop is the only Marvel character I know who plays Cello but now I keep seeing people claim that the Scarlet Witch plays cello, too?

However, it's only mentioned since the movie came out so...

Does the Scarlet Witch play the cello?

I was actually trying to find the interview where he claimed there would be a Vision reference but I suppose it might have been in the same article where he promised not to kill him off...

I didn't know that JW claimed that there'd be a Vision reference but I read one fan theory about Coulson that mentioned that Fury's line "I lost my one good eye" could be relating to Vision *shrugs*

I don't remember Wanda playing a cello, but then I haven't read a book in over 10 years now, and I only read them 15 out of the close to 50 years they've been around. I will say, it wouldn't surprise me if Wanda played the cello, both because of her family history, and because she was a favorite character of mine. I've always wanted to play the cello, so if she did it would be one more thing that made her cool to me.

I guess I'll assume she does play the Cello then even though Marvel Wikie only lists Kate Bishop.

It's kind of neat if she was trying to live like a civilian and met Phil the normal way but then gets caught up in everything anyway...

What I've heard is that a version of Wanda played cello...so, like, maybe not in the 616/main comics universe, but one of the alt. universes, or the Ultimates? I dunno. That's just what I heard, I don't know anything conclusive either xP

But yeah, I've also heard the theory that they'll bring Coulson back as Vision, which...yeah, don't know how I feel about that??? (not a huge Vision fan...)

Vision/Scarlet Witch was an OTP of mine in the 80's. Among the many reasons I quit reading the comics was my dislike of their dehumanizing him, and making her crazy.

That does sound horrible, I've seen quite a few people complaining about Vision and Scarlet Witch and this must be why. Maybe they could fix all that in the movie universe at least.

With the Vision, they took a loving husband and father, with magic Wanda and he had had children, and turned him into a soulless machine. With the Scarlet Witch, she, not unreasonably, went insane after they took away her family.

Having looked at Wikipedia, it seems like the current Vision isn't even written consistently. Some writers treat him as the classic Vision, and others as a new version. Considering some of the things it said went on between Vision and the Scarlet Witch after I quit reading, I'm afraid to look at her wiki entry.

Maybe they could fix all that in the movie universe at least.

I have a variety of reasons I haven't seen The Avengers film. One of them is that the Black Widow doesn't even make my top five of female Avengers I'd have liked to see in the movie. The Scarlet Witch comes second only to Wasp. I'd be very happy if the gave Wanda and Vision a fresh start.
