DirecTv and Viacom

I have no Viacom channels right now. Viacom and DirectTv came to an impasse. Both want me to call the other and complain.

I don't actually care. There's nothing I want to watch. If it isn't resolved by Monday, I'll be a little annoyed but I can catch most of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report online.

It's even been suggested that we'll get a rebate or refund for the missing channels. That's one of the things I like about DirectTv. They do prize loyalty and reward us accordingly. This is also why I'm more willing to take their side than Viacom who sued Youtube.

I have DirecTv too. I heard on the news this evening that talks between Viacom and Dtv completely fell through today and that they were nowhere near an agreement. I was reading online somewhere that it took them two weeks to resolve a similar problem in Boston, I think it was? Thank goodness for the internets, at least. =/

Right, my main problem now is that I found out that Logo is going to start showing Misfits on Thursday and I've really been wanting to see that...
