Dr. Doofenshmirtz: But my intelligence specifically said you would be
sunbathing, he never mentioned an intern.

Major Monogram: That's because he's not officially an employee, he's
unpaid.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: You don't pay him?

Major Monogram: He gets college credit.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Are you sure you're not evil?

I have a love hate relationship with that show. It's like worrying a sore tooth. And I know it is silly to get all serious and politcal about cartoons. Still the image of females on the show is--bridled. Isabella’s brilliance is focused on getting Phineas’ attention and Candace's Pop star mother's put downs are unsettling. I don’t mind that Candace doesn’t get to “bust” her brothers but how many times can a parent call a child “crazy” or “psychotic” and other labels before one suggest emotional abuse? I haven’t seen so much delight in the cheerful humiliation of the female characters since Jurassic Park. Okay putting sixties era cheerless feminist to sleep. I saw that episode. The entire situation with Evil Karl the unpaid Intern was hilarious.
