I went to an arty movie earlier and Really liked it...I'll have more on that at a later date.

Anyway, one of my favorite parts of going to the movies is the trailers. I was basically hoping for The To Do List but while I didn't get that one, I got so much more.

I did get Clark Gregg in Much Ado about Nothing along with both waitresses, the Other and so many more. We're hoping this means that AMC will show the film and we won't have to drive down to Bradenton or somewhere to see it.

I got Bruce Banner in Now You See Me- I can't wait for this movie!

Then, they had Rush with Thor.

My Mom: You didn't tell me about that one.
Me: Well, I knew (oldest nephew) wouldn't be interested so I hoped we'd see a trailer eventually.
My Mom: Still I thought you told me all about the projects involving...
Me: The Avengers?
My Mom: Way ahead of time...

Normally, I'm not that excited about Ron Howard films but damn, yes please.

P.S. Why did no one tell me about Matt Smith cutting all his hair off for the Ryan Gosling movie before now? And he's shirtless??

My Mom: Well, at least we know hair grows back...

Me, too! Probably because it's so fun to imagine what the movie might be like.

I need to look up that Rush trailer. I will watch anything with Chris Hemsworth in it (though I still need to see The Cabin in the Woods).

Also, I love how you and your mom geek out over Avengers fandom together. The closest things I've had like that with my mother were, "Robert Redford's going to be in Captain America 2? *SQUEE*?" and that time she liked a fic I wrote.

ETA: Matt Smith without lots of hair sounds weird. But shirtless!Matt Smith is always welcome.

I do not know you, I just had to comment on your excellent taste in fandoms, as your username combines two of my favorite things!

I like seeing the trailers in the movie theaters too :)

We do not talk about the tragedy of Matt's lovely hair being gone (even if it is just temporary!)

I love trailers, too! People always think that's weird, but then again I'm also one of those people who actually prefers to go to the movies alone, which is one step above being a creeper in a trench coat in our society.

However, I am super excited for Much Ado! I'm hoping it will be shown somewhere near me, too, since the last time I wanted to see a somewhat artsy movie--Jane Eyre-- I had to drive 45 minutes to get to a theater that was showing it.

Heh. After the Avengers I do follow the actors a lot more.

I didn't see Matt Smith cutting off his hair but I am intrigued.
