Fun at Barnes & Noble
May. 27th, 2013 11:58 pmThe magazine section at Barnes & Noble had a bench. There was a guy at one end. My mom was at the other end. I sat down in the middle.
I don't think he liked our conversations. He got further and further away as we discussed Helen Mirren wanting to kiss Tom Hiddleston, how my mom found "Sherlock" weird in Star Trek into Darkness because of being evil and having a haircut, and the three times that Martin Freeman has been in his dressing gown on-screen. He was standing several feet away at that point.
By the time we had finished talking about how awful Bruce Banner looks in "Secret Avengers":
Me: Why couldn't they draw him like Mark Ruffalo?
My Mom: He doesn't have glasses!
Me: He doesn't even look like Edward Norton!
The guy had moved to the far side of the magazines.
